Schools of Choice Program Information
If you reside in St. Joseph County Intermediate School District:

The St. Joseph County Schools of Choice Program will be accepting applications for the 2024-2025 school year prior to the school year. 
 
A family's checklist: Select your choice school (where you want your child to attend.) Submit your child's completed application to your choice school ASAP. Receive notification of acceptance or non-acceptance from your choice school after the district has reviewed your child's application. Complete necessary enrollment forms at your choice school.
St. Joseph County Schools of Choice Application Notices:
*Section 105 (in county) Schools of Choice Application Packets can be accepted now through September 6th, 2024.

  • Families who reside in St. Joseph County ISD can apply for schools of choice to any school district in St. Joseph County ISD.
  • The family must submit one application for each child to the choice district superintendent’s office as soon as possible (before your child’s first day of school).
*Section 105c Schools of Choice Application Packets can be accepted not thru August 20, 2024 at noon.
 
  • Families who reside in Branch, Cass, Calhoun, Kalamazoo, or Van Buren ISD can apply for schools of choice 105c to any school district in St. Joseph County ISD when the application period is open.
  • The family must submit one application for each child to the choice district superintendent’s office by the dates specified in the Application Packet and Public Notices.
