WELDING
This class will teach employability skills as well as
- MIG, TIG and stick welding on Miller and Lincoln equipment
- project setup
- estimating
- plasma cutting
Students will learn:
- blueprint reading
- metallurgy
- basic welding math
- discontinuities & defects of the welds
- thermal cutting
- welding procedures & code work.
This program is designed to develop marketable welding skills and includes instruction in such areas as quality control, process control, problem solving and experience with the newest technological advances.
