PRE-CALCULUS A & B

A thorough study of functions and their properties will be presented which will be the basis for other topics in the course. Types of functions that will be studied include polynomials, rational functions, exponential and logarithmic functions, and trigonometric functions. A study of trigonometric topics will follow including radian measurement, the unit circle, right triangle trigonometry, using and verifying trigonometric identities, and solving trigonometric equations. Arithmetic and geometric sequences will be studied along with partial sums and series.
