Superintendent - Patrick Breen

It is my privilege to welcome you to Constantine Public Schools, home of the Falcons! Our district takes great pride in providing a high-quality education in a caring, student-centered environment. Every day, our dedicated staff work to ensure that each student is challenged academically, supported socially and emotionally, and prepared for success beyond graduation.

I am privileged to serve as the Superintendent in this outstanding community of dedicated staff and caring families. At Constantine, we believe in the power of community partnerships and the importance of working together to help our students thrive. This inspiring work is what energizes me every day. 

My journey began as a high school graduate from St. Joseph High School in 2002 to Taylor University in Upland, IN where I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in secondary education. I taught Social Studies in Wabash, IN, for six years in addition to coaching football, advising the student council, supervising academic clubs, and many other extracurricular activities.

I married my wife, Stacie, in 2008 and started a family. In 2013, we moved back home to St. Joseph, MI where I became an Assistant Principal/Curriculum Director at River Valley Middle High School. After four years as the Assistant Principal, two of those years also serving as the Athletic Director, I was fortunate to become the Principal at the Middle High School. I served in that role for four more years.

I came to Constantine as the High School Principal in 2021 and served in that role for one year before becoming the Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction. I thoroughly enjoyed all of these experiences before becoming the Interim Superintendent in the Fall of 2024. After serving in the interim role for most of the year, I was graciously approved by the Board of Education as the Superintendent in March of 2025.

At Constantine, we are committed to continuous improvement, innovation, and maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for all. As superintendent, I am honored to serve a community that values education, supports our schools, and invests in the success of every child.
