It was a proud weekend for Constantine Cross Country as three Falcons traveled to the Michigan International Speedway on Saturday (11.1.25) to compete in the MHSAA Division 3 State Finals.
Freshmen Allison Burns and Anna Davidhizar made history as the first Constantine female runners to qualify for the state meet in 20 years. Out of 255 competitors in the girls’ race, Allison finished 121st with a time of 21:00.04, while Anna placed 152nd with a time of 21:27.90, setting a new personal record.
In the boys’ Division 3 race, senior Alessandro Avila made his third consecutive state appearance and delivered his best career performance, finishing 54th out of 256 runners with a personal best time of 16:35.40.
The athletes’ hard work, determination, and commitment throughout the season have made Constantine proud. Congratulations to Allison, Anna, and Alessandro on representing the Falcons at the highest level of competition!
