🎉 WELCOME TO THE FALCON FAMILY! 🎉

Please join us in giving a warm Constantine welcome to two fantastic new staff members joining Constantine High School!

Liz Powers | 9th Grade ELA & Electives Teacher

Ms. Powers is a proud Constantine High School alum (Class of 2015!) returning home to teach 9th Grade English, Creative Writing, and Mythology. A U.S. Navy Veteran who served as a turboprop aircraft engine mechanic, Ms. Powers went on to earn her degrees from Southwestern Michigan College and Western Michigan University. She is a self-proclaimed lifelong learner who is thrilled to be back in the classroom where her journey started.

  • About Ms. Powers: Living on a family farm in Union with her child (her sidekick and inspiration for teaching!), Ms. Powers enjoys kayaking, riding horses, homesteading, spontaneous adventures, and watching White Sox baseball or WMU hockey. She also collects books and postcards!
  • In 5 Words: Curious, Tenacious, Adventurous, Whimsical, Optimistic
  • Fun Fact: She can whistle realistic bird noises (and whistles all the time!). 🐦
  • Why Constantine? "Constantine has been a great district for as long as I can remember. The community is close-knit and has that unbeatable small-town charm."

Lisa McKee | Special Education Teacher

Mrs. McKee joins us from Elkhart, Indiana, bringing an incredible 18 years of teaching experience. She earned both her Undergraduate and Graduate degrees from Indiana University and is deeply passionate about advocating for young people and supporting their growth.

  • About Mrs. McKee: Married for 39 years, Mrs. McKee and her husband have four children and nine grandchildren. She is a dedicated advocate for organ donation—having donated a kidney to her son in 2007—and loves reading, traveling, and heading to the beach whenever she can.
  • In 5 Words: Dedicated, Resourceful, Helpful, Kind, Family-oriented
  • Favorite Quote: "Nothing to it but to do it!"
  • Why Constantine? "I’m very excited to be in a district that has a 'community feel' where support, encouragement, and camaraderie is known and evident."

We are so lucky to have both of these incredible educators supporting our students this year. Help us welcome Ms. Powers and Mrs. McKee to CPS! 🔴⚪️
