Welcome to Constantine!

Please join us in giving a warm welcome to two new faces joining the team at Constantine High School this year!

🔴 Alice Easterday | Special Education Paraprofessional

Mrs. Easterday returns to the area bringing a rich background in social work and hands-on classroom support. After earning her Associate of Arts from Glen Oaks Community College and her Bachelor’s in Social Work from Western Michigan University, she retired from social work in 2017 to embark on her "next great adventure" in education. She has since served as a Special Education paraprofessional, Cognitive Coach, and Behavioral Interventionist, and is certified to substitute teach.

  • About Alice: Born in Adrian and raised in Sturgis, Mrs. Easterdy is a proud mother and grandmother—with three of her five grandchildren living right here in Constantine! When she isn't at school, she loves cheering on her current and former students, as well as her grandkids, at their various activities.

  • Favorite Quote: "Try to be a rainbow in someone’s cloud." – Maya Angelou

  • Why Constantine? "I am excited to work in the school district where two of my grandchildren attend (CMS and Eastside)."

  • Message to the Community: "The students at CPS are very important to me, and I will protect, support, and celebrate their successes to the very best of my ability."

🔴 Cole Bates | Paraprofessional

Mr. Bates is a born-and-raised Falcon and a proud CHS graduate (Class of 2025!) who is thrilled to be giving back to his hometown. In addition to his role as a paraprofessional, Mr. Bates coaches Middle School Cross Country and Track for the district!

  • About Cole: A true local who has lived in Constantine his whole life, Mr. Bates loves going on runs whenever he gets the chance and spends his free time making memories with family and friends.

  • In 5 Words: Kind, Honest, Leader, Patient, Smart

  • Favorite Quote: "Don’t take for granted the love this life gives you." – Tim McGraw

  • Why Constantine? "I am most excited about being around some old friends and teachers!"

  • Message to the Community: "I am really excited to be a part of this community again!"

We are so glad to have Mrs. Easterday and Mr. Bates supporting our high school students this year. 🔴⚪️
